Resolve an email with Gravatar then BIMI, or fetch a website favicon using its domain.
/email/hello@amazon.com/domain/amazon.comHow do I structure the URL for a specific provider?
Use the provider's lowercase slug as the first URL segment, followed by its username or identifier. For example: /github/octocat.
Do some platforms require a resource type prefix?
Yes. Certain platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, or Steam support multiple resource types (such as artist, track, playlist, or game ID). You specify these using a colon separator, like /spotify/artist:1vCWHaC5f2uS3yhpwWbIA6.
How do email lookups work?
When you request /email/name@example.com, the service automatically checks Gravatar first, falling back or checking BIMI records to resolve the best possible avatar.
Can I fetch icons using just a domain name?
Yes. Using /domain/example.com will automatically extract and return the official website favicon or brand mark associated with that domain.
What happens if a user ID or provider profile doesn't exist?
The API will gracefully handle missing or invalid identifiers, returning a reliable fallback avatar or placeholder response so your UI never breaks.
